Celebrating 15 Years of SF Connected
For 15 years, SF Connected has helped older adults and adults with disabilities in San Francisco gain digital skills, devices, and internet access through community sites like senior centers and housing programs. This citywide model, managed by the Department of Disability and Aging Services, shows how local governments and nonprofits can partner for lasting digital inclusion. New Workshop Curricula
digitalLIFT’s ready-to-use workshops make it simple to offer digital skills training in libraries, community centers, and nonprofits. On March 11, we launched new lesson plans, including Online Health Tools for exploring digital health resources; how to use Dropbox for cloud storage and file organization; and an introduction to Spreadsheets for basic data management in Google Sheets. Trainers can implement these lessons immediately to help learners gain practical, everyday digital skills.
