Exciting news—Community Tech Network is evolving! As of April 21, we’ll be known as digitalLIFT, and we can’t wait to share this new chapter with you.
So, why the change? Over the years, we’ve realized that our previous name created some confusion. The words “Community Network” sometimes led folks to think we were an internet provider, while “Tech” gave the impression that we focused on high-tech solutions. Neither fully captured the heart of our mission: Providing essential tech training and resources to nonprofits and their communities.
Our new name, digitalLIFT, conveys our purpose more clearly. It’s concise, easy to remember, and better aligns with our vision of lifting up communities by bridging the digital divide. The transformation represents a fresh identity while staying true to the values that drive us every day. We remain steadfast in our commitment to helping people navigate the digital world confidently and independently.
As digitalLIFT, we will continue to work collaboratively with organizational partners to train their staff, serve their clients, and build a more inclusive digital future for everyone. Whether it’s hosting workshops, offering training, or developing multilingual curriculum, we’re here to build a robust ecosystem of digital inclusion providers.
