We’re excited to share that digitalLIFT’s Founding Executive Director, Kami Griffiths, will be presenting at the 2025 NCOA Age+Action Conference, happening May 28–30 in Arlington, Virginia. This national event brings together leaders and changemakers who are committed to ensuring that older adults in every community can age with dignity, purpose, and self-confidence.
Hosted by the National Council on Aging (NCOA), the Age+Action Conference is the nation’s premiere gathering focused on aging well. With a long-standing mission to improve the lives of millions of older adults—especially those who are underserved—NCOA’s work closely aligns with digitalLIFT’s values and our belief that digital access is a human right.
At digitalLIFT, we work every day to bridge the digital divide by training older adults in essential tech skills, and offering programs that are inclusive, personalized, and rooted in community. Our programs help people stay connected, access important services, and live more independently. That’s why we’re honored to contribute to the national conversation at Age+Action 2025.
Using Tech Programming to Reach a Wider Audience
May 30, 2025 10:30 am – 11:30 am Eastern
In her session, Kami will explore how senior centers can develop or expand their tech programming to better meet the needs of older adults in their communities. Many older adults are eager to get online but face barriers like a lack of training, fear of scams, or difficulty navigating complex systems. This session will highlight how thoughtful digital literacy programs can build confidence, increase safety, and create stronger community connections.
Kami will share real-life examples, practical tips, and resources that senior center staff can use to design programs that are accessible, engaging, and effective. Whether your center is just getting started or looking to grow, you’ll walk away with fresh ideas and proven strategies for reaching more people.
Let’s Connect in Arlington!
We’re proud that Kami is representing digitalLIFT and the work we do across the country. If you’re attending Age+Action, we hope you’ll join her session and connect with us. Together, we can make sure every older adult has the skills and support they need to thrive in today’s digital world.
See you in Arlington!
