digitalLIFT’s mission to foster safe, connected communities took center stage on January 19th, when our team participated in San Antonio’s annual MLK March. Antoinette Lakey, Ethen Baca, and Jessica Strom connected with hundreds of attendees at the digitalLIFT tent, helping them set up medical IDs on their phones, sharing various pathways into digital literacy, and inviting community members and organizations to explore digital navigator training. It was a remarkable day! Check out our Digital Dream blog post, where we unpack how digital inclusion supports personal safety, opportunity, and community wellbeing.

Net Inclusion is the most important convening for the digital inclusion field, bringing together practitioners, policymakers, funders, and advocates from across the country. Hosted by the National Digital Inclusion Alliance, the conference is where ideas turn into action and the future of digital equity is shaped.
digitalLIFT staff are proud to be speaking across five sessions at Net Inclusion 2026, covering digital resilience, sustainable funding models, disability accessibility, creative storytelling, and technology support for older adults. If digital equity is part of your work, Net Inclusion is essential. We hope to see you there!

New Digital Literacy Workshops
Growing your digital inclusion program just got easier. digitalLIFT has released three new, ready-to-use workshop curricula (bringing our total to 12!) that make teaching digital literacy skills easy and effective. Each one-hour workshop includes a slide deck, lesson plan, and participant handouts, so you can deliver a complete session right away. New topics include Social Media & Online Dating, Misinformation & Clickbait, and Digital Coupons. These are specifically designed to help learners stay safe online, think critically, and save money. These workshops join other popular offerings like Smartphone Fundamentals, Intro to Generative AI, Online Shopping, and more.
