Make a
Difference!
All digitalLIFT volunteers receive training to help them understand how to work with adult learners and ongoing support to ensure their success. Volunteers must be over 18 and go through a mandatory background check to work with older adults.
What do we need from you?
- 1-2 hours a week for 12 weeks
- Intermediate-level digital skills
- A high level of patience

Be a Builder
digitalLIFT’s volunteer program fosters intergenerational relationships, builds leadership and teaching skills, and creates a sense of community. By teaching others how to navigate the internet, you will empower them to:
- Access essential resources (telehealth, information, news)
- Connect with friends and family
- Explore their interests online
Reduce Isolation
and Lonliness
You will reduce isolation and feelings of loneliness. Above all, you will equip them to feel more confident, curious, and capable.
Both remote and in-person opportunities (in San Francisco) are available. Are you fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Tagalog, Vietnamese or Korean? We especially need your help!
Let’s get to know each other! Complete our Volunteer Application, and we will reach out to you.
