We had an incredible presence at Net Inclusion this year — five digitalLIFT team members presented panels or workshops, sharing practical insights and tools with peers from across the national digital equity ecosystem. The inspiring energy, collaboration, and exchange of tactics reaffirmed the strength of our practitioner community.
We’re also proud to share that our Founding Executive Director, Kami Griffiths, was honored as a 2026 Charles Benton Digital Equity Champion for decades of leadership in advancing equity-centered training, community-rooted models, and inclusive partnerships nationwide.
Here’s to the collective work that moves our field forward — stronger together.

Supporting Digital Navigators Where Community Happens
February is Library Lovers Month, and we’re celebrating the essential role libraries play in closing the digital divide. Public libraries are often the first place residents turn for internet access, device support, and trusted guidance. To support that work, we’re offering 25% off our Digital Equity & Libraries Course through February 24.
This train-the-trainer course equips digital navigators working in library settings with practical tools, multi-modal lessons, reflective exercises, and user-friendly resources tailored to real library environments. If your library staff is serving as informal tech support every day, this course helps turn that effort into a structured, sustainable strategy.
Partnering with Counties to Drive Local Digital Equity

We’re thrilled to announce new partnerships with Marin County (CA) and King County (WA) to strengthen local digital inclusion efforts. Counties are essential frontline leaders in closing the digital divide because they understand local barriers, coordinate across agencies, and shape strategies that meet residents’ needs, from access to skills and support.
By working directly with county governments, digitalLIFT helps build sustainable digital inclusion frameworks that equip staff with practical tools and training, and connect community members to the technology and skills needed to thrive.

Honoring Trailblazers & Modern Digital Inclusion
This Black History Month, we’re spotlighting the continuity between past and present innovation. As digitalLIFT’s blog highlights, Black pioneers like Katherine Johnson and Mark Dean helped build the foundations of computing and space exploration — even when systems denied them credit and access.
Today’s digital divide is a modern echo of the barriers of the past: limited broadband, gaps in training, and a lack of confidence online. Yet just as those innovators persevered, so do the communities we serve. By teaching digital skills through culturally responsive, community-centered programs, we help learners not just access technology but also use it to tell their stories, advance their work, and shape the future.
