We’re thrilled to announce that digitalLIFT will be participating in Net Inclusion 2025, taking place May 20–22 in the Gila River Indian Community, Arizona! This powerful national event, organized by the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA), brings together digital inclusion leaders, advocates, and practitioners from across the country—and this year, several of our team members are stepping up to the mic.
Our staff will be sharing their knowledge in three engaging and interactive sessions designed to help organizations grow, strengthen, and support digital inclusion efforts in their communities. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to take your program to the next level, these sessions are packed with practical strategies and real-world insight.

How to Build or Expand a Digital Inclusion Program
May 20, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM MST
This hands-on workshop is designed for anyone ready to launch or grow a digital inclusion program. Attendees will begin with a needs assessment to understand their current strengths and challenges. From there, participants will dive into two mini-workshops of their choice, focusing on areas like assessing community needs, program planning and implementation, and volunteer management. Xandi Wright from Wright to Learn will facilitate the workshop with Dr. Shaun Glaze from Black Brilliance Research Project and digitalLIFT’s Kami Griffiths, Skye Downing, and Jess Strom. Together they will offer helpful tools and strategies that participants can use right away.

AI for All: Transforming Digital Skills Training & Navigation
May 21, 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM MST
In this compelling session, Skye Downing will be joined by a dynamic panel of leaders in digital inclusion to explore how AI is reshaping digital skills training and navigation. From innovative tools to real-world applications, panelists will share how organizations are using AI to expand their impact and reach. Learn from case studies like Hugh the Manatee, an AI assistant helping individuals access devices and connectivity with personalized guidance, and Prompting Pirates, a playful, pirate-themed game that teaches prompting skills and AI basics to students and adult learners. Whether you’re just starting with AI or already integrating it into your services, this session will spark new ideas and offer actionable insights to apply to your digital inclusion work.

Unlock Success: Training Essentials for Staff and Volunteers
May 21, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM MST
Kami Griffiths and a dynamic panel of leaders in digital inclusion will explore how to create stronger, more inclusive training experiences for staff and volunteers. From understanding different learning styles to building inclusive environments and offering effective feedback, this session will provide fresh ideas and tested methods for strengthening your team. Expect to leave with practical tools and inspiration you can bring back to your own organization.
